Designations

State and National Real Estate Boards require Continuing Education to all members. This assures that the agent is up to date on current real estate issues. The continuing education is mandatory, with out which the licensee will lose their license. 

The National Association of Realtors acknowledges specific designations to Realtors who take required courses to earn a specific degree. These courses just like college course require specific hours of instruction. These courses are not required for continuing education. A licencee who educates themselves in their field are more knowledgleable and efficient.
